Vacation Bible School
VBS will be June 8th through June 13th from 5:30 to 8:30 each evening. Children 3 yrs old to 6th are welcomed to attend.
After School
Oakdale has a highly respected after school program. Enrollment is limited to 150. See the After sKool page for more information.
What we believe
Oakdale is a New Testament church striving to fulfill our Lord's commandment: "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem (locally), and in all Judea and Samaria (nationally), and to all the ends of the earth (globally)."
We believe:
- There is only one God, who created everything.
- The Bible is the inerrant Word of God.
- The only way to get to heaven is by having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, God's only Son.
Oakdale Baptist Church is affiliated with the Rankin Baptist Association, the Mississippi Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
Our Purpose
Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20
It shall be the sole purpose of Oakdale Baptist Church to do the will and work of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
For Him, we will endeavor to:
- Convert unbelievers into believers
- Change believers into learners
- Challenge learners to become disciples
- Channel disciples into the work of the ministry
